Please settle any personal accounts with the hotel reception at check out.
‘Tipping’ in Scotland is dependent on service you receive:
Restaurants: For Good service 10% is more than acceptable. Check restaurant bills as some add a gratuity directly to your account.
Caddies: Have a set fee at each course If they have provided a good service £25+ tip on top would be in keeping. Most caddies will expect £100.
SFG Team: Please place the gratuity in an envelope and give to the host at Dinner on the final evening.
Weather in Scotland is changeable. Expect temperatures between 8c (46F) and 15c (59F) Please make sure you bring adequate clothing.

Please note caddies are requested but not guaranteed. Last minute requests are very rarely successful so we advice making them as early as possible. As caddies are usually not employed by the course, they will be required to be paid in cash on conclusion of round. Please note, any cancellations must be made 48 hours prior otherwise a cancellation fee of £70 will be charged.
If you have arrival and/or departure shuttle transfers included in your package, we will be in touch week commencing 20th March with exact timings however, we ask upon arrival please call +44 1334 611 466 and a member of our team will advise of your allocated shuttle.
You will be provided with your allocated shuttle timings at check in. If you miss a shuttle, you will be expected to make your own way to the course/driving range. We would advise you arrive 10 minutes before your shuttle time. The shuttles depart from the east wing of the hotel near the golf stewards desk.
Your golf bag will be stored in a secure room by the golf stewards desk at the Old Course Hotel.
There will be a reception desk at the entrance to the hotel by the concierge desk. This will be unmanaged however, there will be information on the event available on the desk.
Lunches, Welcome Buffet and Farewell Prize-Giving Dinner are included in the package however, any drinks/refreshments are payable direct.
